Our Sheltered Housing tenants have their own newsletter, Silver Lining. Issues are available to download from the right. Two special editions were published in 2008 giving details of the review of services and support plans. These are also available to download from the right. We use our news letter to keep our customers advised of any changes or improvements we intend to make or have made in the past.
Following our publication in January 2009 advising our customers of some of the proposed changes I can advise you that our new service commenced on 1st June 2009. The main emphasis of the new service is customer choice around contact. Our new service offers more choice and moves away from the 'one size fits all' service that previously existed. We now offer different forms and frequency of contact - Monday to Friday (inclusive) 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1 visit; a telephone call; or a mix of these. If your needs change, we can change the service to suit you.
For example if you choose 1 visit per week on a Monday and 2 telephone calls on Wednesday and Friday because you prefer the freedom to go out without having to think about letting someone know, and then you are ill, you can contact us and we will arrange to contact you more frequently until you decide whether you want to continue as before.
